Type Posters
For these posters the goal was to create two compositions that join typography and image to show a creative use of hierarchy and grid applied to a series of two events. I focused on making two architectural photographic exhibitions that showed the work of the renowned Spanish architect, Calatrava.
Upon research of venues, cultural impact and promotional information, for the exhibition venue I chose one of his famous architectural developments: the City of Arts and Sciences located in Valencia, Spain. In order to choose a style for the posters, several grid and typographic studies were needed to find optimal hierarchy and connection between image and text, with the goal to convey a cultural message within the poster.
